The fabric is better than the cheap pop up tent in the market.

This is exactly what I have been looking for: an instantly-setting up beach cabana. No more playing with poles…just stretch it out and pull the two cords and it’s up. I bought it based on the video review of the first reviewer. It is very simple to set up. Well made and sturdy. Very roomy too with about 4 to 4.5 feet of headroom and plenty of room for three adults in lawn chairs. This will be great for the beach or when we need a windscreen when picnicking. It disassembles just as easily and folds up into a neat little carrying bag that’s about 3′ tall by 6″ wide. Highly recommended!

This is a great tent. It works as described, however it has a few problems: the headroom is very low, I stand 5’5″, and although I could sit up in it hunched over, my head would brush the top (not fun in the morning with cold dew). The 2 legs really aren’t enough for good balance, I tipped it lengthwise while moving around in my apartment, so on the campsite I was extra careful not to get too close to one end.

The foam mat on mine was heavily bent at the joints, forming a low spot which was a bit uncomfortable. Also, you will need some sort of extra lining under your bag as it gets very cold down there.

Besides that, one of the best nights Ive ever had camping. I found myself somewhat creeping to one end and hitting the small side with my head. Fortunately its long enough to slide back towards the middle. I was able to lay in it and change my pants, but it wasn’t easy.

I suggest going with the oversize which has the dome top, its only a little bit bigger when folded up but I’m going to bet that dome will be better at directing rain/dew away, and will allow you to sit up and not hit the roof. Everybody asked me what the hell it was, and lots of people said they thought they would like to try one out.

This is a fantastic concept. I am currently in the Bermuda Regiment. I am in the boat section of support company. During weekend camps that we have once a month we travel to an abandoned warehouse that we store our boats in and we sleep there throughout the weekend. The problem is that the warehouse, along with almost the entirety of the rest of the abandoned naval base that it’s on, is in a state of disrepair. Every year we do a little bit to make it better but nobody has done any work to the roof in donkey’s years. This makes for an interesting situation when it rains since the roof of the building is very leaky. I’ve been woken up in the middle of the night several times by rain water dripping on me in a steady stream. Also, there is the odd occasion where we have to create makeshift tents for ourselves when we sleep out on one of the islands. Now I can stay warm and dry throughout my rest periods thanks to the tent cot. Definitely worth every penny.

Though, I don’t think that I’d want to have to go on a hike with it on my back along with the rest of my gear. Thankfully, my section doesn’t have that issue.

Also, I’d like to note that the size of the cot is great for me. I’m 5’11″ tall and weight about 155 lbs. I fit inside the item with great ease. This cot is slightly longer than the standard military issued cots that we have.

I bought this brand new…and it is already broken. I never even got a chance to use it! I took it out once to see how it looked..nice but very heavy!!! I mean VERY heavy! Then this week I took it out again to get ready for a craft show..and thought my husband and I could set it up to do a trial run..and pow..all these arms in the tresses were bending and then broke..one after the other. 4 total. I checked on replacement parts and it is for each…and I need 4! One steel piece almost hit me in the eye as it totally snapped. I was careful setting it up! Now what am I going to do? It is made of steel. Heavy duty…I mean heavy…not sure about the duty…maybe heavy doody is more like it!

It is horrible..and i took pictures of what happened. I would like a replacement frame immediately…as I don’t know what to do with the nice canvas roof/walls/etc…. I hope the company will come through…but there is no way I can even send back the broken one…it is just too heavy…no joke!

The canopy broke after the 3rd use. When I returned it, I was told that these have a lot of problems. So I bought a Quik-Shade instead. Don’t be fooled by the higher price – it won’t last!
